Poetry: On poems

Expression on Wooded Products

Written beauty is so eloquently true

Taking letters into meaningful families

As my way to release a deep gray-blue

By shy metaphors or saddened similes

Don't forget those hidden thoughts too

Tie them together for higher expression

For waking the soul to create sweet creations

Small and big ideas sorted with witty words

Done quickly or by tactful, subtle elation

To make forms of angry lions or graceful birds

New muses are silently striking wherever

Almost always in the dull, daily scenery

Having no red ink makes ideas lost forever

Fading and erasing each word's frail memory

Causing the emotional author's soul to sever

If people never used blank paper and pens

Fragile minds would start to burn and spin

Our forethoughts slip and loose substance

Writing gives the weak mind's sanity assistance

Internal peace meets trophies and wins
