How my day began
I woke up this morning with you in my arms
I love how the sun light hits you just that way
I pulled you loser; intentions of not letting go
And this is how I started my day
I look around, there's our clothes on the floor
I lay and listen to you dreaming away
I find comfort in the scent of the night before
And this is how I started my day
I try not to think of the long day ahead
I struggle as I try to find the right words to say

And this is how I started my day
The alarm clock goes off and I panic
You fade to quickly here as I lay
The place where you were is as empty as a dream
And this is how you began my day

I love how the sun light hits you just that way
I pulled you
