27 fertility tips: Naturally increase your fertility and the ability to get pregnant without drugs

Many couples find themselves ready to start a family, but pregnancy proves to be elusive. Months go by and sometimes years go by, and a seemingly normal process becomes a source of great distress and concern. Both partners are checked physically and no medical issues are found. Though the situation may have escalated to urgency, there are many natural tips that can increase the chances of conception, and these should be exhausted before assisted fertility is considered. Following are 27 natural fertility tips that are low-risk with the possibility of very high benefits.

1. Don't Wash After Intercourse: Many women are in the habit of douching or showering after intercourse as a matter of hygiene. This practice actually serves to prevent pregnancy. The use of feminine wash removes sperm from the area and can reduce the chance of pregnancy by up to 30%.

2. Lift Pelvis and Legs After Intercourse: Lifting the pelvis and legs after intercourse physically helps the sperm reach its destination. Though a seemingly simple solution, the use of gravity can actually assist with fertilization as sperm cells are moved into a better position.

3. Avoid Commercial Lubricants: Commercial lubricants are a common solution for couples who generate little natural fluid during intercourse. Unfortunately, chemicals in these lubricants can negatively impact the viability of sperm cells. These lubricants should be avoided or replaced with a natural substitute such as egg whites. Egg whites can provide the same lubricating qualities without the damaging side effects.

4. Put Conception Out of Mind: Though putting conception out of mind may sound challenging, the pressure of trying to conceive and the emotional stress of failed attempts can have a negative impact on the body. While news of unplanned or accidental pregnancies can add to the distress, there is perhaps a lesson to be learned from such stories. Simply enjoying the moment can move a couple closer to their goal.

5. Vacation Time: The pace and stress of daily life does not always provide the optimum environment for fertility. High stress levels and charged emotions can affect a woman's menstrual cycle and a man's ability to produce sperm. Stepping away from the routine into a relaxed and romantic environment gives the body a chance to do what it is designed to do.

6. Strive for Good Overall Health: A healthy body produces balanced hormone
