Poetry: Stress

by Michelle Brutvan

Created on: September 14, 2009

Blank

My mind floats with mindless madness not letting me rest for there is no peace.

It wanders back and forth searching for meaning and resolution.

I cannot locate it and find utter confusion at its difficulty.

This crazy life I know too well is constantly testing my will to press on.

I question frequently the need to continue in such chaos

Why do I bother to proceed down a road that finds little or no reward?

My pursuit for truth is resolute and adamently determined

I wonder if my words get through to those who seem to need them

Does anyone care about a strong and persistant voice

Resounding a powerful message full of hope for all around?

My understanding for such a narrow-minded world

Is constantly filling a troubled mind with questions of ever getting heard.

It leaves me at the end of a tiresome path

Feeling completetly blank.
