Nightmares from the past,
Brings disturbance ringing in my ears,
Unseen voices terrifying my interest,
Whispering gesture with imagery of fears.
Shadows comply in the dark corner
Help to shake the hands and feet,
Conjuring up horrid fear,
Exorcist phantoms from the past,
Familiar spirits having lived a lifetime,
Now seeks another irreconcilable urge,
Steer back into the reality of peoples mind,
The ghost from the past reemerges.
To take possession waiting in other dept,
Existence without real proof,
The images of stolen identity crept,
Into bodies fractured by reproof.
Ghost from the past live in time less moment,
Changing with time already fled,
To find whatever love takes as torment,
Will imagine the living as though they are not dead.

Poetry: Ghost from the past

Chattering Teeth
I am the ghost
The poor, pale figure
That you know in your heart
Is dead
Yet I return with a muzzled voice
To
And the ghosts of the past continue to march past my bleary eyes,
Individually taking a spear to my heart with their looks
Ghosts of the past
touch my life with their fingers,
silvery claws that flash in the moon.
Cracking the shells
of my dreams
Back in San Fransisco
After being gone so long
Things have changed
The hippie scene is long gone
Now it's commercialism
Rent a Ghost
Round up
Round up
to rattle and ghoul
a ghost of Christmas past been found
Here he is
available to rent
