The Judgement Tarot card is close to the end of the Major Arcana, representing a final decision or judgement; reward or punishment.

There is something "final" about this card in that a definite decision has been made. This cannot be altered. It is the result of what has gone before and all that is in the past has been taken into consideration. Only one path lies ahead.

Sometimes things don't come easy. Often a person has to wait for certain events and life's journey can include delays and hold-ups. When this card appears it suggests that where there have been multiple choices and a number of paths that could have been taken in the past, ahead now is only one. This cannot be altered.

Judgement represents a decision that is being or has been made. Imagine a court case and all the evidence that has been discussed and debated before the Judge is to reach his decision. This card represents the verdict; the final ruling.
