Titled: Elemental Emotions
Dusky shadows of nightfall,
Grace my heart in loneliness.
Starlight glinting in my eyes,
Consumes my soul in abjectness.
Darkness cloaks my tears,
Starlit streams glisten.
Night sounds cover sobs,
For no one else to listen.
Blackness swirls around me,
Torrential storm of emotion.
Wind sweeping through my hair,
Desperate devotions.
Hard ground beneath my hands,
Fallen body of mine.
Trembling with thoughtless grief,
Thickening scent of pine.
Curl into myself,
The sickness in my mind.
Tears me from inside.
This self-hatred I wish to bind.

Poetry: Self-hatred

You do not know me.
Not like the others do.
Hate and loathing know me.
They know me through and true.
I am not what I appear
It's filthy fingernails, dragged jagged and bloody across a sunken shard of a shattered face that stares inward, backward,
There's no virtue in my mind
It's something you will never find.
There's no love inside my heart
I wouldn't know where to
Hater of self, losing love
I hurt the one I adore
The one who keeps me sane
When all else fails
Rip out my heart
Feed it to the

as mourners empty eyes.
