BICYCLE ACCIDENT
Snap!
Like photograph taken
Life develops in a flash
Clap!
The days have been shaken
Taken away in a crash
Crack!
my bones have been broken
Smack!
I have been awoken
Whack!
my thoughts have spoken
And I am nearly gone.
Boom! Bang! Crash!
CLASH CLASH CLASH!
I want my life back
I want my life back
I want my thoughts back
I want my dreams back
I want everything back
But it has been stolen
Ring Ring Ring
My life is calling and taunting me
Bing Bing Bing
That bicycle is haunting me
Click Clack!
I've fallen on my back
Vroom Vroom
My legs are doomed

Poetry: The days have passed
The days have passed won and lost,
In a gesture copied to whatever love takes,
And memories wait to be quietly rescued,

Never Enough Time
Running, rushing, never slowing,
racing onward, always going
faster, tripping, falling,
He stares
at his old watches
But, they could not
give him time back.
The time
of missed opportunities,
missed appointments.
The days have passed,
We can see now what kind of President he'll be,
Apologizes to a country who has killed so many
by G E Barr
Time Flies
Like ribbons of reality
Waves of minutes
Punctuated with conversations
Moments of thought
The past is gone
