Eternal Fix

I have had the thought in some state of suspense for some time now

But tonight I must face it head on

To look at myself and judge me no more fit for life

Than a rapist, or pedophile, or a murderer

What is my crime you ask

That I dream

For that leads to the greatest perversion of all

Hope

No man should ever have hope

Because one day he shall turn to find

The lie that has been staring at him

since the day he first had such miserable fabrications

The only remedy is death

For it may steal the hatred from oneself
