Reality
Field of Flowers
Fairies dance `round lilies of beauty
Sun settles down upon skin so gracefully
Warm, cozy feeling
Smell of fresh roses is all-encompassing
Descend into the aroma let it comfort
Relax, just breathe, close the heavy eyelids
Time to sleep, enter peace.
Settle, awake
Gun fire, children crying
Hunger in the pit of the stomach
People screaming in the dark
Confusion, chaos
Coldness, darkness all around
Fog, haze swallowing the human body and mind
Then...absolute darkness
All is quiet, cold, empty and damp
Shock of bright yellow all consuming light,
At that moment the soft, gentle voice of a man beckoning
