taken over by my love
truly thought that all was true
only saw sunshine above
only felt full joy anew
sacrificing, freely gave
pouring gifts without delay
working happily, a slave
glad to suffer, come what may
freely he received and took
brushing off my slow demise
wouldn't suffer me a look
wouldn't gaze with selfless eyes
rather glares and turns away
takes away the loving pose
hands me insult and dismay
'stead of love, and on it goes
so my countenance declines
so my face looks at the ground
so a heart I thought was mine
is just not there. not around.
asking all my questions why
sit in limbo in a daze
confused and lonely am i
cause i thought my loving ways
were what he needs in his life
to give to him a love complete
did my best to be his wife
but wound up suffering defeat

I have a wall you cannot see
Because it's deep inside of me
it blocks my heart on every side
And helps emotions
A Day Without An End
And the stars began to swirl
As they never had before
A gateway through a keyhole
A slowly creaking
Unopened mail
not a metaphor
You reached out and we touched.
We created fires that set to blaze
