What might have been?
I just can't help but wonder
What if our love had been free?
But our love got stuck in a thunder
Now I sit in my hearts debris
Would I have made you happy?
Would you have made me smile?
Could you have loved me truly?
Would our love have survived?
Perhaps I will always wonder
What might have been?
Had we only been braver,
and let our love win.
If the situation had been different
If we had met one year before
Would we have grabbed the moment?
Could we have been much more than amour?
Had we just dared to believe?
That a passion as strong as ours

A love, predicted by the stars
My dear, my heart, did love pass us by?
I stand on glass, too weak, too thin
Calling out into the sky
What might have been?

What I know
What might have been?
I just can't help but wonder
What if our love had been free?
But our love got stuck in a thunder
Now I
What might have been
If fate did not stop us
Would I have been yours
Our would you have broken my heart
Would we have
