Every waking moment
Of every living day
I sit at my bedside
With hands clasped and pray
For answers to the questions
I'm afraid to ask
For strength to reveal myself
And remove the mask
That keeps be weighted down
hiding the person within
Afraid of my own feelings
Afraid to commit a sin
And so I sit here in silence
Every waking moment of the day
Begging for my souls redemption
For this is what I pray
