Husbands have the tasks every year of picking out the perfect birthday present for their wife. This can get difficult when you have already bought the jewelry box, the perfume, the flowers, and even the jewelry for previous birthdays. Men I am going to let you in on a surefire way to make your wife's heart melt for her birthday. As I am an expert, I am a wife and I know what we want.

Forget the same old suggested gift ideas. Women know it took ten minutes to stop by a flower shop on your way home from work. Flowers are generic and I know many wives including myself, who think they are a waste of money on special occasions. They make a terrific just wanted to say I love you or Hope you have a great day gift, but not a birthday gift. Why? Simple. Flowers die. The present is gone. Women like to cherish special gifts forever. Women can cherish the fact that you surprised her at work one day out of the blue with flowers, but for her birthday it leaves the heart wanting something deeper. It takes a planned thought to send flowers on a regular every day kind of day, but on a birthday, it is suggested, taking the sentiment out of the gift. Don't buy her favorite perfume either. She already knows she loved her favorite perfume. That is nothing new. That is merely refilling her supply. Instead try these gifts.

Instead of buying her favorite perfume buy a fragrance that you love. A woman wears perfume to attract her man. She wants to be alluring to you. So to know that you spent half an hour at the perfume counter smelling a million perfumes will let her know you actually put some thought into her gift. I know, I specifically buy perfumes that my husband has said he likes. Why? That is the reason I wear them. I know when I am looking good, and walk by him, intentionally too close, he will be captivated by the way I smell; only adding to the beauty of the moment.

What would you do for her birthday if you were still dating? It's no secret that men fall off the romantic bandwagon once they get married. Yes, women are guilty of this too, but for this point we will focus on men. What sweet things did you do for her to win her heart to begin with? Many men would leave cards on their loved ones windshield. This is a great place to begin. Why on the windshield?
