Poetry: The hardest part of my life

by Lisa Beach

Created on: September 10, 2009   Last Updated: November 30, 2009

The hardest part is living a life of a future unknown,

but then, where would I be

without surprises along the way?

Family gatherings and wedding,

children born,

and learning love bears no burden,

no matter where I must go.

To know the unknown future hangs before me,

like luscious peaches on a tree,

its swinging branches in a

riddled dark.

Let the hardest part be living a life unknown...

I am ready for it,

And the surprises along its way.
