Every Waking Moment,
Every waking moment,
God throws Chance my way:
do I listen, and care for each so carefully,
or live my life my way:
feel that I must,
in the name of love, till eternity sways
me away unto a pain and the memories just begun.
Why should I be the one left untouched?
I will bear that waiting, waked bliss.
My every waking moment deals with cancer,
courage, and the running of time,
yet still I ask, what can I do, oh God,
to help others as I stay and
live upon this beloved earth?
