Once I was alone
Everything was still,
Brightness looked so dark
Healthy looked so ill.
Once I was alone
Everything was blue,
Colours blurred around me
Clear space I couldn't see through.
Once I was alone
People ran quickly by,
I stood still and I watched
Faces seeing eye to eye.
Once I was alone
My world fell apart,
Putting pieces back together
I don't know where to start.
