Dream so vivid and so strong
Play out at night just like a song
Memories of days where you belong
And how at times it still hurts
Now that you're gone for good
Took a while to be understood
In the grass saying goodbye I stood
Sadness still comes and goes in spurts
I dreamed of you again last night
Of a time when we had our last fight
Many things were wrong, but some were right
And how at times it still hurts
My dreams just continue to occur
But in the morn it's mostly just a blur
Although strong feelings it can astir
Sadness still comes and goes in spurts
You're gone but the story doesn't end
Dreams prevent the heart from mend
Missing you very much my friend
And how at times it still hurts
