Knights Alone
Kaleidoscopes before me perplexing and eluding to an unknown beauty,
It might be in you, a shining knight inside me performing his sole duty,
Haunting renditions of praise for an unknown lover now so far gone away,
We both fall below heaven, beyond belief, in a way impossible to convey,
Soft, shining words that wound like a high calibre pistol in your hands,
Simple, complex references, indifferent to movements, like music no one understands,
And you've finally reached some climaxing point and it's over and you're gone,
To a round table, where time is dead and where it all happens to be so wrong.
