Poetry: He is gone

by Louise Riveiro - Mitchell

Created on: September 10, 2009

I turned around and you were gone
Life is not worth living so why should I go on
Feelings are dead deep in a bottomless hole
My heart broken never again to be whole
If only I had known with a sign or a clue
That I'd be left here without you
Why must I suffer again and again
When will it stop
When will it end
Even in my dreams your image comes to me
Sadly telling me that is was not meant to be
So again I am alone
I just turned around and you were gone
