Top 10 things to do before high school ends

It seems like it was just yesterday you were attending your first day of high school. Now it's four years down the road and you are about to graduate. Over the years you have made friends, memories, and had many experiences, but are you ready to become an adult? There are so many things you need to know before you become an adult, and there are so many things you wont be able to do anymore, some things you'll only get one chance at. Here are the top 10 things to do in high school.

10. Take up a hobby. Learn to do something new, something you have always wanted to learn. You're not going to have much time when you are an adult to do the things you enjoy the most, or learn something you could quite possibly enjoy a lot. You will never know what you do or don't like unless you try it. Am I right?

9. Spend more time with yourself. Get to know yourself better. You'll be spending the rest of your life with yourself! In college or at a work environment you wont be able to see your friends and family. You're going to be all by yourself, a lot.

8. Go to prom. Even if you think prom isn't your thing, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and a great life experience. You'll regret not going when you're older.

7. Collect yearbooks, pictures, make scrapbooks. Years from now it will be so much fun to look back on. Eventually you will show your children, and maybe even your grandchildren.

6. Learn all about finance. Money is a very important factor in life, so learn how to manage it. Open up your own bank account and start saving. You're going to need to pay bills, and buy food. You'll need money to take care of yourself properly.

5. Get your license. Not only is driving one of the best things about going to high school, it's extremely necessary. When you are on your own you will have responsibilities, whether they are going to school, going to work, or maybe even dropping off and picking up the kids, they all require transportation. I promise life will be that much easier if you can transport yourself.

4. Get a job. McDonalds, Burger King, it doesn't matter. You will learn so much and having a job in high school will help you out in the long run by teaching you self-discipline and responsibility.

3. Take a trip, maybe even a road trip with your friends. It'll be a great life experience, and you will have a ton of fun in the process.

2. Build strong relationships, possibly even fall in love. You wont stay friends with most of your high school friends, but the ones you do stay friends with will be your best friends until you are both old and gray.

1. Plan your future. This is one of the hardest things you will ever do in life, so be careful. Make sure you decide to do something you love, something you are good at. Think about all the things you would like to accomplish in life and do them!

This is advice to help you, to prepare you and put you in the best position for success, which is the goal in everyone's mind, right? Everyone just wants to succeed.
