My friend, the Moon.
The little girl opened her big blue eyes and looked at the sky
Her girlfriend was already there waiting in the dark
The little girl opened her mouth and said:
What do the future holds for me dear Moon?
Never had she answered but to listen was her skill,
Every night she will ask the same question,
The Moon will smile at her, wink at her sometimes, frowned at her when she was sad.
The Moon was her confident, she knew that.
Years past, people came and went, but the Moon remained by her side.
She listened to many stories the girl said.
On her last night, blue eyes asked again,
What would the future hold for me dear friend?
The Moon finally answered you will come to live with me my girl, and together we will listen to the stories of those left on earth.
