TO FEEL AGAIN
Decades of association suddenly ceased.
She- so precious, her life merged in oblivion.
Her simplicity, affection, a sad reminder-
Of life's vicissitudes-she is gone;
l loved her, I can't feel her again.
She was a shriveled frame, thin,
Her hair disheveled, body cold,
Life flittered away, while in sleep
Flames consumed, the body ad bones
Can't feel nor see her helpless smile.
A tear trickled, later turned to sobs,
Uncontrollable sobs, gasps, breathless
Just thinking of her, now calmness-
The myth of this life, once exist
Later disappears, never to feel again.
The reality remained history, the past.

My heart strings are tied in
