I think I'll stay for a little while,
Since I've killed the trust with arrogance and guile.
A truth I promised I'd never defile,
So I'll grit my teeth and force a smile;
Allow myself to remain versatile.
Ironic it is, to cling to this isle
But swimming away sees a hopeless trial
Still, I manage to show my smile
And display my contentment so passive, so vile
A fitting tribute to my Lily of the Nile
That's always been my vulgar style
To ignore the past and crack a smile

Waiting to get
