Business is a legal organization designed to provide goods or services to consumers. People start a business in the hope of growing their money bigger and faster rather than just putting it in the bank where the interest rate is so small. However, there are still other factors why people build businesses. Some want to have the freedom to work on their own hours instead of working the regular eight hour job. They also want to be their own boss and practice independence. It may be true that getting more money than what we had put in establishing the business maybe the major reason why we started a business, but there are still other aspects that business can bring not only to the owner but to the society as well.

One good motive of a business is giving back to the society. Successful and established companies can donate and give generous amount to their chosen charities, help in building libraries and schools, or donate to hospitals. They can help in the improvement of the community where their business is. Contributing to build parks and playgrounds, restoration of roads, or beautification of the surroundings can also be done. Another motive of a business is helping people to have a living. More business opening will create more jobs for the people. Having more investors will help in the economy of the country as well. Improved standard of living will also result if majority of the people are working and earning.

All businesses providing goods to consumers strive to give quality products so that end users will be pleased. Food businesses try to give delicious, healthy, and convenient foods to busy working individuals. Businesses that provide services will go the whole nine yards just to give utmost satisfaction and assure repeat customers. Good customer service will provide an extra edge to a company against its competitors and a sure way of gaining a bigger market. There are companies that sell different technologies that makes everyday living easier and more convenient.
