In September
All the leaves turn brown
All the green is gone
And the cold is coming on
In September
The leaves are on the ground
Fall is moving in
I can feel it in the wind
In September
We have to leave this town
No one sticks around
When the leaves are turning brown
And there falling to the ground
And the wind is blowing round
In September
The leaves are piled high
It gets darker everyday
And the kids can't even play
As we rake away the leaves
And the wind blows them away
In September
The summers going down
Fall is moving in than winter comes again
In September the summers going down
Leaves are turning brown
As there falling to the ground

"Take Me Back"
Take me back to September,
Where I first made love
It seems to me that leaves which fall on empty floors,
Will pave the highway of our dreams when we're outdoors,
And if we
I walk in the woods where we once danced
when the Autumn sun shone upon our skin.
I sit at our cafe, order your favorite
September's Sacrifice.
Driving down the road today,
I realized today is the day -
of America's darkest hour.

September Remembers
Verse 1:
Momma, you shine like the sun in the Fall.
You wake me come morning and smile through it all.
