It was 2:30 am when I was awaken,
Of the tiptoes on the hallway close to my room,
I opened my eyes and listen intently,
While I asked myself, who could be walking this early?
I peeped through the half open door,
To see if really there is someone out there,
But unfortunately, I did not see anybody,
Probably the sound I heard is from nightmare.
I went back to bed to go back to sleep,
But the time 2:30 am is a middle time of sleep,
That's why I have a hard time falling asleep,
So I turned on the lights to write or to read.
As I was about to open my Bible to start reading,
All in a sudden I heard the sound again,
I asked, Who is out there disturbing my sleep?
At my bedroom door I saw my daughter standing.
What are you doing at 2:30 am?
This is too early for you to get up,
She answered, Oh Mom I was very scared,
There was someone on the window pane.
I hold her hand and went back to her room,
To find out who was on the window pane,
I did not see anyone but a shadow of the tree,
Because that night was a full moon.
That night at 2:30 am was in my mind,
For I was not back to sleep until my clock alarmed,
I get up to prepare myself for the day,
With my heavy feeling I pushed myself through the day.
