There are a lot of people working who may actually be stuck in a job that they do not really want. Because of too much competition or fear of change, they settled for whatever job they are holding even if they are a little dissatisfied. Individuals are looking for many different factors in a job but not everything may be found in just a single one. Everybody needs to work in order to earn and support themselves and family. When the need arises, most people are willing to take any work just to sustain their everyday living.

A stable company will have the resources to maintain all their employees, thus assuring the stability of your job. Removing certain positions to minimize expenses will be an unlikely scenario for established companies, hence providing you with the stability and permanency you are looking for as long as you perform your job competently.
Third is growth. People don't want to be tied in a stagnant job. They want a work that can provide them with growth, both personally and professionally. Individuals are more motivated to perform their best when they know that there is more room for advancement and that they can climb up the corporate ladder eventually.
