A child forever.

As his eyes roll toward the ceiling
and he drools on his new shirt,
a perfect picture of love
when he smiles at you.

I have dug so many holes for myself
Yet from these I have mined great wealth
I have fallen so many times
Honey there ain't
Re-read the good book a dozen times
Mount the sermon and still you find
Each verse rehearsed within your mind
