I searched for the answers that never appeared In the darkness of my soul I held all my fears Feelings of rejected, unloved, unwanted Followed me all my life and in everything I did Trying to please everyone but never me For in this dark place in my soul I felt it was how it was to be Trying to save the world and loosing me I now see that was not the plan set for me In the darkness a flicker of light appeared It nestled in my spirit and soon darkness disappeared I found a path that day I held out my hand and He showed me the way No longer do I feel unwanted or unloved I walk in His light and His love
