HCG Helpful Tips
Two weeks ago and almost fourteen pounds, I began my HCG diet. I hadn't heard of this diet until about a month ago. Now, I see it advertised everywhere, TV, the Internet and etc.
I opted to see my doctor and visit with a nutritionist. After seeing the nutritionist, I began my HCG diet protocol. My doctor prescribed an HCG cream, which I apply once daily.
The reason that I am writing is to help others avoid the mistakes and hunger that I have experienced in the past two weeks.
On the two gorge days, eat everything suggested i.e. in the book, HCG Weight Loss Cure Guide. Eat even when you think that you are so very full. On my first day, I didn't click out two units as prescribed and I thought that it wouldn't matter. It mattered!
During my first 500 calorie day, I suffered from a horrific headache, had blurred vision and was lightheaded. I was working that day. Not only was I doing without my sugar and starch, I had cut way back on my caffeine intake. Don't do that!
After my evening meal and if I'm still hungry, later I will eat a boiled egg. I follow this with a heated mug of lemon water sweetened with stevia. I still lose the pound the next morning.
I don't lose as much if I eat non-fat cottage cheese. I don't know why.
I ate broccoli because my husband thought that I needed a vegetable change. I didn't lose as much as previously. I only lost .4 of a pound. Broccoli isn't a recommended vegetable. Dr. Simeons knew what he was talking about.
Purchase the cookbook, 101 Worry-Free HCG diet recipes. It is extremely helpful with the spices and recipes.
One huge mistake that I did was eat talapia fish cooked on the grill on a cedar board. I have some tree allergies and I was sick from the allergies and the fish. I only lost .4 of a pound for a couple of days.
In between meals, if I seem hungry, I'll drink a mug of hot water. It seems to curb the hunger.
Buffalo was purchased at Whole Foods and is delicious grilled! I do well with whitefish and chicken.
I email my weight to my nutritionist weekly. Thus, I am accountable to someone. I also have a couple of friends who are a week or two ahead of me on the protocol. It is great to have this support system.
