Wisdom

Wisdom is defined as the ability to use one's experience and knowledge to make sensible decisions or judgements; simply put it is the skillful application of knowledge .

This definition implies that wisdom is not magic or guess, it is researching/ finding facts about a topic, when it is required to know about any such specific topic, learning and using those facts . Of course all the information must be taken from a reliable source which usually is advised by a scholar of that science/topic.

Solomon was the richest man who ever lived and could have had anything he wanted but what did he ask for: WISDOM.

This makes me wonder who is the wisest of all and my answer is God. What literary source would he advise me to get wisdom from for any topic , no doubt the Bible. So in my quest for untainted Wisdom I was looking for Godly Wisdom.

Godly Wisdom

Godly Wisdom can be defined as skillful application of Godly Knowledge and Godly knowledge is obtained by carefully studying, meditating upon and memorizing principles from the bible.

What the Bible says about Wisdom

So I did just that, looked up as many scriptures as I could on wisdom and found that Job 28:28, Proverbs 9:10, 15:33, Psalm111:10 shows what to do to get wisdom they all imply thus THE Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding

This type of fear was translated from the Greek words phobos and phobeo which means reverence for God as a controlling motive and to show reverence and adoration toward God respectively.

Then Proverbs 19:23 says The fear of the Lord tendeth to life and he that hath it shall abide satisfied, he shall not be visited with evil.

Therefore if you love God and embrace his principles as your way of life then the 'door is open for you to walk through' to have wisdom and ultimately a satisfied life.

In conclusion the Lord is telling us Wisdom is to apply the knowledge which he will instruct, teach and guide us from His Word. However we have to take the time to know The Word to see what He has to say about each aspect of life health, food, money, future then apply those facts to make wise changes in our lives . Now isn't that Wisdom. God has placed everything in the Bible and He wants us to live our lives Abundantly to its fullest.

Prov. 3:13 says Happy is the man that findeth wisdom and the man that getteth understanding.
