Grandparents day is a time to show our family elders how much we appreciate them and to honor them for all they have done for us.  Crafts and activities for children on this special day can be done along with grandparents or completed ahead of the date to be given as gifts.  Decorated photo frames, custom coffee mugs and fingerknitted scarves are practical items grandparents can get a lot use out of while handprint art or custom videos can be enjoyed again and again.

Take the tail and wrap it under and around your index (pointer) finger bringing it back to the front of your hand.  It should be between your index and middle fingers.  Lay the same tail strand of yarn over your index finger and wrap it around your ring finger the same way you did for the index finger.  Now lay the tail over your pinky (fifth) finger.

Pick up the other end of the strand that has been lying across your palm.  Bend your middle finger and place this section of the yarn behind it.  Do the same for your pinky finger and then take the loose tail end and tie it around the the
