Seasons change as does all life
Moments of beauty, wonderment and yes, sometimes strife
But with every passing minute, breathe in like it is your last
Don't take for granted a second, as it will soon be the past
So laugh hard, love and hold on dear to what is truly in your heart
Be humble, be thankful, treat everyday as a new start
Walk through the day and take in all thats around
From buildings, animals, nature and sounds
From the street's name that you walk
To the persons name, who may pass or talk
From the colour of the sky, to the colour of the trees so tall
Acknowledge the endless cycle from winter, spring, summer then fall
Enjoy the things that the universe will unfold
And try to imagine all the stories untold
Take the opportunity to enjoy each and everyday
Make the opportunity to have fun with child like play
Count all your blessings every little one
Especially when you want to hide or run
We take so much for granted and sometimes need to beware
Many things to be thankful for and the people who care
The kind gestures of a smile, a hello, an embrace
It's okay to remember the moments time can't erase
But living in the here and now
Makes it easier to cope some how
Holding on to loved ones past
Unsure of how long the pain will last
Allow the day to be what it should
Let go of what you wished it could
Take time to thank the universe and pray
Of this once in a life time, this moment, today

Poetry: Cherish each moment
by Shirley Love
Cherish each moment, each hour in each day,
The enemy, Time, just keeps slipping away.
Life passes so swiftly and waits for
by Jon Coe
Every moment spent together
each time, in blustery weather
Every time you look at me
all the time I want to be
With you,
Cherishing Your Last Moments
B'thump, B'thump, B'thump, B'thump ...
Your hand in mine feels cooler than it did a mere moment
If you try to embrace it
It cannot be held
If you try to erase it
It won't do you well
You can spend life defeated
With thy
I know it can not last; our hearts, our lives are not the same,
This is just the moment; this night is just a one time
