I'm staring at myself in the mirror
Thinking how did I let it get this far
Why did I let you steal my shine
I used to be a glistening star
In the end I wasn't worth a fleck of dirt in your eyes
No matter how hard I tried
I'll never win 1st prize
Maybe you loved me, maybe you didn't
My love was never meant to be taken, it was given
In result you took my love for granted
Now my love is tainted with your lies
I have no regrets only a deep hurt
Hurt..that you never had the thought to put me first
My only choice now is to say goodbye
I smashed my rearview mirror and drove away
There is no looking back
In your shadows I refuse to stay
I'm in need of freedom
Break loose of your restraints
I wish you'd care about me
Like I cared about you
The concept of us is now officially through
And there is no looking back
