Pros and cons of writing on Constant Content

Writing articles for Constant Content is probably different from any other setup you have tried before. While the likes of Helium, Triond, Associated Content and others will permit you to submit articles regardless of spelling and grammar mistakes, Constant Content will not. It is a much more robust system they have in place, a system designed to ensure that only quality articles will displayed for potential buyers. The stringent editorial process means that you will have to be sure your article is free of spelling or grammatical errors before submission. If not, you can expect your article to be rejected.

A brief overview of the pros and cons:

Pros

Encourages good quality writing.

Permits previously published articles which can be sold as "usage" only. Effectively, your articles can earn continuously.

As the author, you set the price for your article with three options; Usage, Unique and Full Rights

A personal "My Account" section where you can keep track of your submitted articles and payments.

$5 payment threshold through Paypal.

Cons

Stringent editorial process. One mistake and your article will be rejected.

Three rejections can result in termination of your account.

Editorial process can take a while. Be prepared to wait for acceptance or rejection.

Communication with authors could be better and more sympathetic.

There is no question that Constant Content require quality from those who submit articles. This is the basis of their success though as publishers seeking to buy articles can do so with confidence. Knowing that there is a robust editorial system in place means that potential buyers have no fears about buying trash or articles that need to be rewritten.

If you are a writer who likes to write in a hurry and who pays little attention to spelling and grammar, Constant Content is not for you. If you plan to write for CC or to publish your previously written articles from Helium, make sure to proofread them well. Correct any spelling and grammatical mistakes and make sure to follow direction when submitting to the CC website. If you are a decent writer, Constant Content could be a money earner for you. The CC policy has probably frightened off more writers than it has gained but this is a policy designed to guarantee that only good quality articles are presented to publishers.

Constant Content demands a higher standard of writing from its contributors but the rewards are much higher too. While most websites pay only page views for your articles, CC will pay 65% of the article sale, based on the price you state. Writing articles for CC is much like writing articles for other websites. The main difference is that you will be more meticulous in reviewing your work before attempting to submit. Write well, write carefully and Constant Content could be a nice little earner for you!
