I close my eyes only to see him
Through his own, I get a glimpse of his soul. It is hypnotic
Such a warm and comforting energy before me
A presence I have forever known and yet never met
If I listen carefully to the warm gentle breeze whisking around me
Vibrating softly, I hear his voice whispering my name
It is gentle and calming yet with strength reaching to my very core
My ears strain, yearning to hear it forever as it echoes in the distance
I breath him in till my lungs are full and I am elated with his fragrance
Over whelmed by this and as I press my hand to my chest
I can feel his heart beat as though we are one
To now realize that he is with me, yet at this moment physically not present
How can this be? A gift from God maybe? Or is it just a passing moment, to heal the hurt and pain that has stricken my heart for so long?
Time ever knowing and I will wait to see Gods path for me
An hour glass overturned, the sand falls through time
Measuring those wonderful passing moments
Waiting until we are finally together

I'm waiting for a day
Waiting for a feeling
Waiting for my time to come

A truth I promised I'd never
