Online Surveys: Pinecone Research

I have been a member of this site for about ten years. I am a bit nostalgic thinking on how I can't believe the site has been around that long, or that I have been a faithful member. It does pay through paypal. They will only contact you if your personal information given meets the requirements of the research needed.

Personally, Karen Scott, chairwomen of the site, e-mails me a LEAST once a week (for the past few months, anyway). I fill out a survey and a few days later payment is sent through PayPal.

In the past a check was mailed, although I loved looking forward to the check coming in the mail I admit it is nice to have some extra cash in my PayPal account. Karen and her staff have always been very professional and courteous to deal with. I have never had a problem with them or the site. When I have asked a question or two, they have always replied the same day.

I have also been contacted to test products at home. With the product test is another payment. And after you test the product, you fill out a follow-up survey, for another set fee. So, there are times when you can get three payments just for one product.

I find this site extremely useful for companies who want to submit a product for people like me to try out and give an opinion on.

I also find this site an incredible way for people like myself who do not mind spending five minutes of their day filling out a survey, getting free samples of products before the public even gets to buy them, and getting paid to do it all.

There have been times, when there was a dry spell. But, this is not the sites fault; it is just because the companies wanting research on their products feel I am not the person they want to know about.

I see all these people bashing the site because they never got asked to fill out a survey.

That's not the sites fault. I cannot stress enough; it is just because your demographic and personal information does not fit a profile a particular company is looking for.

It does not hurt to sign up and give it a try. You can always cancel if you are not happy, or are not receiving any surveys.

The pay is $3 for some survey and others are an entry into a $500 sweepstakes. Still, it is easy money going right into my PayPal making it nice for eBay purchases.
