Gnarled trees
Still tall and proud,
Bear their gifts
On twisted bough.
Leaves of green;
Hide orbs of gold,
Tell the tale
Old orchards hoard.
Treasured fields,
Adam's nectar,
Asian Pears,
Nature's grandeur.
Autumn's sun,
We'll pick divine.
None so sweet
As apple wine.
