It's all about the eyes, and you know how true that really is. People are constantly making eye contact and expressing themselves through their eyes. It's an instinct to try and grab someone's attention through the eyes, so it's only natural to want your eyes to really stand out. The truth is bigger eyes call for bigger attention. But how do you really make those eyes pop?

There are so many tips and techniques you can experiment with. From much experience trying to make my eyes stand out, I have learned plenty do's and don'ts of trying to make the eyes appear larger. I do know how frustrating it is, spending money on all these products not even knowing if they will work! That's why I have put together these tips to make the journey to amazing eyes a little cheaper and a lot more successful!

Lashes, lashes, lashes. It's all about the eyelashes. When it comes to eyelashes, not all of us have the luxury of naturally long, gorgeous lashes. If you have short lashes, false eyelashes are the only way to achieve long lashes. Don't want to spend the extra bucks? I don't blame you! So, always curl your eyelashes before applying mascara! You can also curl them after the mascara is applied, but wait until it has dried!

Invest in an eyelash comb! Preferably a comb with metal teeth, the plastic ones are kind of wimpy. Combing through your eyelashes after you have applied your mascara will get rid of those nasty clumps of mascara and give your lashes a more natural look.

Don't forget those bottom lashes. You'll be surprised how much your eyes will really explode with mascara on them.

Keep your eyebrows manicured. You wont realize how much they compliment your face until you actually groom them. Add the slightest arch and fill in sparse spots. Invest in brow liner ladies! You'll be thankful you did.

Many people think dark eyeliner will help make your eyes pop. True they make the color pop, but white eyeliner really brings out the color and widens the eyes.

With these tips and a little bit of confidence, you're well on your way to big, bold, and beautiful eyes. Practice, practice, practice! And don't be afraid to be a little creative too. Now go show off those dazzling eyes darling! And don't be shocked if the men get a little carried away.
