I sit here waiting,
Every day.
You're not here now
It's not okay
Every minute,
That I wait for you,
Is a minute,
When I say who.
Who made me wait?
Who made me go?
Who made me stop
Being who I know?
If you loved me,
You would stay,
But if you loved me,
There'd be no pain.
I wonder why I waited
And I wonder why I stopped,
When it was clear all along,
That love me you did not.

Yet I pretended you did.
Whenever you said those three little words,
I'd play along, though we both knew

days I could not see the truth.

you say you can have any woman,
Denial has been my best friend
