Poetry: You did not love me

by Jessica Graham

Created on: September 04, 2009   Last Updated: September 05, 2009

I sit here waiting,
Every day.
You're not here now
It's not okay

Every minute,
That I wait for you,
Is a minute,
When I say who.

Who made me wait?
Who made me go?
Who made me stop
Being who I know?

If you loved me,
You would stay,
But if you loved me,
There'd be no pain.

I wonder why I waited
And I wonder why I stopped,
When it was clear all along,
That love me you did not.
