Muted leaves fall from their homes above
Red, green, brown, golden
Their simplistic perfection marred
By the angry blades of the mower overhead
Tiny white flakes, no two the same
Dance gracefully down to their lazy gathering
Until a tromping child runs through
To gather the flakes into one indistinguishable snowball
Clean, white daisies push out through the moist soil
Warming their petals in the bright morning sun
As the orange tabby cat comes to bite their heads off
Then hack them back up on their bodies
A sandcastle is erected from the warm, moist sand
Its turrets standing proud for passers-by
When a spontaneous wave bounds into the coast
And washes all traces of the sandcastle away

Poetry: Nature's seasons
Apollo, how you drive your chariot across the sky
That blazes with the Summer's sun
And nurtures life for all that run
This
by Jishi Santos
Nature's seasons are four in all,
Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall.
Varied, exciting colorful and real,
nature's seasons
Nature's seasons
Winter, cold, icy, full of snow
Toddy for the body, don't you know
Just a wee bit of Irish Whiskey
To keep
by Shirley Love
SPRING creeps up slowly, then bursts forth in glory,
Nurtures new life and rejuvenates old.
SUMMER is lazy, days hot and hazy,
Heat
Seasons
The turning leaves float on the breeze
Among the changing colors of the trees
The autumn sky goes on and on
Fallen leaves
