When you touch my face you peel away my mask
like a feather, the softest caress makes it drift away
on the tide of your love
and you see through me to the spark within;
you make me feel as beautiful as the fire of the
rising sun.
I am stripped down and bare before your eyes,
but I feel no shame;
your gaze makes me feel radiant, splendid, victorious-
I have no secrets from you.
I would cross a lifetime of oceans to spend a single second
surrounded by the sight, the smell, the love of you.
You touch me and my heart dances to the rhythm
of your soul,
the blood in my veins sings to the sound of your
name upon my lips.
This most true of loves brings the shards
of my shattered heart back together
into one glorious whole, yours always until infinity
itself ceases to be.
