Why isn't it like fairytales?
Why doesn't real life reflect
The fiction I'm absorbed in,
Every mood, all aspects?
The damsels and the heroines
The heroes and the knights
The elves, the trees, the beauty
The loving, the living, so right
I know I love you more
Than anyone I've ever known
But it doesn't ignite my soul
Or make me shiver in every bone
Life is truer than fiction
But I wish it wasn't so
I want my love for you to rage
Like Juliet's for Romeo
I need some fire, some danger
Forbidden romantic bliss
Something to stir up the magic
Everytime we kiss
I need the burning excitement
Crave the passion so true
Because I'm scared of it becoming
So humdrum, my love for you

Love and bonhomie amongst the junkies
That truly does exist, for all that one
Rarely hears of it, it
