My battered heart bleeds
I fail to find reason
Through tainted eyes
I see nothing...
Even time will do me no favors
For a moment I breathe freely
Disillusion is my last hope
Tell me...
When is it my turn to dream?
Soft slumber eludes me
I have grown weary
Still my head remains unbowed
I will retreat someday
Maybe to the soft, thunderous clouds
I will find my way home

Poetry: It's time to move on
Sitting in the Hands of Time
We break up to make up
And make up to break up
But baby this time
The make up is gone
No more crying
by Kris Vaassen
It's time to move on
from all of the promises
you made me but broke
them one by one
It's time to move on
I have love in my life
by Kay Bee
It's time to move on
Leave the past behind
Pick up the pieces
Of my life and my mind
It's time to move on
Bad memories will fade
Everything was simple
Just the way I liked
Then you ran off and got married
Leaving us behind
I don't feel remorse
Nor do I feel
I guess it's time to move on
Been traveling for so long
There's no sense in looking back
I know you won't be on that truck
