Two empty hearts,
not yet acquainted, but
yearning, and searching.
Desperately reaching out to each other.
Searching for someone to belong to.
A warm, soft, place to call home.
Two songs, eager to be played,
harmony and melody, waiting
to blend and become one.
Empty years, silent tears, waiting to
be wiped away , within the gentle
embrace of a stranger's arms.
Two empty hearts, yearning and searching.
Love me. Fill my emptiness.
Strangers become lovers, and soulmates.

Poetry: Strangers
Here I am-just me
No interruptions.
Pleased to meet you, hand extended.
Here you stand;
you are somebody,
you’re going
Strangers
Be wary of strangers we are taught
Talking to strangers a last resort
We teach our children to do the same
Only
by L D Redmond
Children, ever talk to strangers.
Now children, listen very carefully
for I have something to say.
It's very important you
The world is full of strangers
People you don't know
Or care about
This street was once your
Full of people you would greet
But
by Laura Hurst
Sleep peacefully as you have done before
Its shadow cast upon your door
A figure of evil in darkness creeps
looms over bed
