My mind yearns as my body lies
Tangled among the web of covers
Wondering off to favorite hunting grounds
To lie and wait for my prey
A dream or two of yesterday I hunt
For in the past these dreams I seek
Provided me hugs of arms
And a nurturing Linus blanket
My mind has sniffed and found the trail
Capture is close at hand
These dreams I seek
Lie in waiting to be found
This night, this hunt
Is mine to have
My prey will come to me.
