Gone but not Forgotten
Tell me, where did you go?
Also, why can't I forget?
It would be easier
If my mind could be swept.
I don't want to complain
About remembering you,
But my soul is shredded
Every time that I do.
If you are truly gone,
Then, why aren't you forgotten?
Like some fruit that's left out
All soggy and rotten.
Souls don't fade as will fruit,
But if it did work that way,
Then your imprint, so clear
I'd remove from my brain.
Each moment is sacred;
This I vow, for all my life
I'll keep all the good times
With the pain and the strife
So I promise you now,
Unlike fruit that's gone rotten,
Although you may be gone,
You're never forgotten.

Poetry: Missing someone
Every time I hear your name
A tear comes to my eye
My heart wasn't ready
When my lips said goodbye
I'm sitting here
by Ryan Hart
I just want to hold you,
is that really so wrong?
And tell you what he never told you,
you have waited so long.
I just want
When you left,
I thought I would be strong,
Needless to say I've never been so wrong;
Everything in my life,
Was going down

"Our Love Reaches"
Time touches me from across the ocean's vast
It whispers songs of seconds passed
Each moment without and
by Toni Davis
"Still"
Time has not diminished
faded
take n away
nor removed my love for you
and vice versa
18 months and you're still here
whispering
