How negativity affects your relationship:

Jealousy has negative effects on relationships in many ways. Jealousy can cause a couple to be constantly arguing. It can bring about a lot of bitterness between the couple.

When a spouse is jealous, it shows that he/she is very insecure in the relationship. They are afraid of losing what they have. A spouse who is jealous will cause the relationship to fail. You will be doomed before you give the relationship a chance to succeed.

Constantly accusing someone of cheating or watching their every move will cause unnecessary turmoil. Sometimes when a person is being accused with warrant it will cause that person to cheat. They feel that if they are being accused, they might as well be doing it.

Being jealous shows a person has a low self-esteem. If you don't like yourself, how can you expect anyone else to like you? You need to look at yourself and what you are doing, that makes you think your spouse is cheating on you. Why do you feel that way? By building up your own self esteem you will find a way to feel more secure in a relationship.

Getting into a relationship with a person who is jealous can be very dangerous. At the slightest sign of jealousy, this person can physically hurt you or the person that he/she thinks you are having an affair with.

There are some that you simply can't get away from. They are constantly following you and watching your every move. Watching who you talk to and where you go. It is hard to know when you are in a jealous relationship until it is too late. It can be very difficult to get out of. This compulsive behavior has driven many people to committing crimes and suicide.

Negative thoughts have caused people to become so obsessive, they will lock their spouse in the house when they go to work. The spouse is not allowed to talk to other people. They can't even go shopping without their husband/wife going with them. They are told what type of clothes to wear. These type of people constantly need to be reassured that the spouse loves them.

Having negative thoughts effect you and your partner both physically and mentally. When in a negative relationship you need to look for counseling. Discovering what causes these negative thoughts can help you to overcome your fears. You need to open up to your partner before the relationship is ruined.

Jealousy causes emotional distress. It can put a strain on the relationship. Jealousy can cause your thoughts and emotions to be distorted. Jealousy causes physical distress. It can restrict the spouses freedom. Jealousy causes embarrassment in social situations. Jealousy will drive your partner away. Jealousy can become violent.

Jealousy is a waste of time and energy that shows your own lack of confidence, low self esteem, and insecurity. These are negative thoughts that can destroy you, your spouse, and your total whole being.
