I was wrong to do, the things I've done,
Bringing darkness and pain, where before there was none.
I was wrong to doubt, your love for me,
But where once I was blind, now I can see.
I was wrong to say, all those horrible lies,
Betraying your trust, behind a veil of sighs.
I was wrong to be, in that terrible place,
Causing you grief, lines etched on your face.
I was wrong to live, in such a fantasy world,
Where madness did come, and my mind unfurled.
I was wrong to think, of childish ideals,
And I can only hope, in time we will heal.
I was wrong to keep, that perpetual myth,
Or to blow out of proportion, when we had a tiff.
I was wrong to give up, when I should have fought,
When you fell down, I should have caught.
I was wrong to blame, for my selfish deeds,
Your plaintive cries, I refused to heed.
I was wrong to seek, illicit attention,
You have to believe, it was never my intention.
So I want you to know, I'm not that man anymore,
It was a foolish endeavour, like no time before.
I need you to see, the person I am,
Who loves you so much, with all that he can.
I want you to believe, in the sound of my soul,
In its chorus and verse, making us whole.
I need you to know, of my lifetime devotion,
To sharing our lives, loves and deepest emotion.
I want you to trust, in your beloved again,
Through actions and deeds, not paper and pen.
I need you to have faith, like never before,
To sweep it aside, like ash on the floor.
I want you to forgive, it's a big thing to ask,
Your anger and hurt, are so hard to mask.
I need you to know, how precious you are,
I am the moon, and you are my star.
Melissa my love, my guiding light,
Bringing sunshine and warmth, to the coldest night.
I say these words, with no sign of frivolity,
I'm down on my knees, most sincerest apology.
You mean more to me, than mortal words can say,
And I will show you that, every single day.
Sorry is a small word, but loaded with meaning,
I pray you'll accept, this heartfelt feeling.

Poetry: I'm sorry
The glass left tracks,
at the corner of your brown eyes,
On a Kodak moment,
Better left behind,
Every word spoken,
Tore it all
I'm sorry I wasn't willing
To change myself into what you wanted.
I'm sorry I wasn't able
To be someone worth loving.
I'm sorry
The words you say you don't want to hear,
They won't make things go away,
I'm sorry doesn't change the past,
Or remove all
by Holly Trout
I'm sorry for all the ways
All the ways that I've hurt you
I'm sorry for all the things that I have done
I'm sorry for
by Cruelcode
Its the tears of my mother that keep me clean.
that keep me away from evil.
that keep me safe .
that keep me alive.
The fear
